Turn any photo into a die-cut sticker

Stickers are everywhere — chat packs, laptop lids, planner pages, shop mockups and printed sheets. The classic look is a subject cut out from its background and wrapped in a thick white border, like a die-cut vinyl sticker. This sticker maker builds that effect in two steps: it removes the background from your own image, then traces a clean outline around the remaining subject. The result is a transparent PNG you can drop onto any color, photo or printed page and it still reads as a proper sticker.

Everything runs on the client side. When you choose a file, your browser loads it, runs an in-browser background-removal model to isolate the subject, and draws the outline on a local canvas. There are no uploads, no remote templates and no hosted storage — the only source is the image you provide. On the first run the model files download once so the cutout can work, which can take a little longer on a slow connection, but the actual processing happens on your device and the browser may cache the model for next time.

Tune the white sticker border

The outline width slider controls how chunky the border looks. A small value gives a tight, subtle edge that suits detailed art, while a large value produces the bold, playful border people expect from a sticker pack. You can also change the outline color: white is the traditional choice, but a bright color can frame the subject for emphasis or match a brand. The border is drawn by expanding the subject's alpha edge in every direction, so corners stay rounded and the shape hugs the cutout instead of forming a rectangle.

Transparent PNG output

The download is a PNG because PNG supports an alpha channel, so the area outside the border stays truly transparent instead of being filled with white or a checkerboard. That means your sticker layers cleanly over websites, marketplace templates, social posts and print layouts. For the cleanest result, start from a high-resolution photo with a clearly separated subject and strong edges; busy backgrounds, fine hair or glass can make the mask less perfect. Because the whole pipeline is local, you can retry different images and outline settings freely without sending anything away.

Frequently asked questions

Are my images uploaded for the cutout?
No. Both the image and the background-removal model run in your browser. Your file stays on your device and is never sent to a server by this tool.
Why does the first sticker take longer?
The background-removal model downloads the first time you use the tool, then runs fully in-browser. After that the browser can usually reuse its cache, so later stickers are faster.
How do I make the white border thicker?
Use the outline width slider. It grows a clean white sticker border around the subject before the transparent PNG is exported.
What file do I get back?
A transparent PNG, because PNG keeps the alpha channel around your sticker. JPG cannot store transparency.
